Our Team
Nick Schwager
Senior Transmission Manager
As Senior Transmission Manager, Nick is responsible for overseeing the transmission strategy and implementation for the team. This includes, but is not limited to grid interconnection assessment, LMP pricing, transmission impacts, and tariff review. Nick holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University. He is also a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Prior to joining the Enerfin team, Nick had spent the past two decades working in and around the energy industry. He worked for MISO, Dynergy, and Vistra on their transmission and engineering teams. Nick brings a wealth of experience and knowledge about the interconnection process, engineering tools, and ISOs, which aids the team in each phase of the project. When Nick is not running transmission analyses, he can be found relaxing on the beaches of Florida.
Patrick Hedger
Development Manager
As a Development Manager, Patrick is responsible for overseeing all phases of our development projects. This includes, but is not limited to land acquisition, environmental studies, resource studies, market analysis, interconnection, community outreach, and permitting. Patrick holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a A.S. in Engineering from Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC). During his undergraduate studies in Blacksburg, Patrick took an interest in rocketry and was on Virginia Tech’s Propulsion Sub Team.
Prior to joining the Enerfin team, Patrick worked at Siemens in their Building Automation and Controls division where he improved efficiency and energy usage for companies all over the Commonwealth. At Siemens, Patrick furthered his technical expertise through conducting mechanical design drawings and utilizing control sensors for programming efforts to optimize operational services. When Patrick is not working on renewable energy development projects, he enjoys swimming, biking, running, and hiking all over the Shenandoah Valley.
Autumn Summers
Project Developer
As a Project Developer at Enerfin, Autumn spearheads the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects, specializing in wind, solar, and storage solutions. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia, where her passion for environmental research led her to explore shoreline migration rates of marshes at the Chesapeake Bay using ArcGIS.
Autumn's journey with Enerfin began as an intern, where she played a crucial role in de-risking over 1 GW of solar projects through resource, environmental, zoning, and land due diligence. During her final year at university, she returned to Enerfin as a supporting developer, contributing to land campaigns, consultant management, and the delivery of key project milestones.
Growing up in the Shenandoah Valley, Autumn brings a love for nature and adventure to her work. When she's not advancing renewable energy projects, you can find her gardening, cooking, reading, hiking, or kayaking, embracing the great outdoors.
